My name is September Symens-Lacroix, and I am a home-based travel advisor operating out of Omaha, Nebraska. I founded September Rose Travel in 2024 after several years of researching the travel planning industry and training to become a travel advisor through The Travel Institute’s TRIPKIT℠. I am proud to be working as an independent travel advisor after passing The Travel Institute’s TAP® (Travel Agent Proficiency) test.

I hold a master's degree in journalism and mass communications and a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism. My education and my previous professional experience prepared me well for the travel industry–I’m cool under pressure and have a keen eye for details!

I’ve also been fortunate to be able to travel quite a bit, and my interest in the travel industry has only grown with each trip. I keep up with news about how global travel is changing, and in my free time, I love to peruse hotel reviews and read up on popular destinations' new offerings. I would be thrilled to chat with you about your next trip!
